Accusize Insert Boring Bar

I discovered when I first started boring out the rear turbo outlet bung that my 3/8" brazed carbide boring bars really did not like aluminum. The bars flexed and chattered, and the carbide cut like crap.

Meanwhile, my Chinese facemill demonstrated what a proper aluminum-cutting insert could do.

So I stepped up to an AccusizeTools 5/8 SCLCR Indexable Boring Bar with aluminum-specific inserts.

WAY more rigid, and the insert slices through aluminum like butter.
