2005 Toledo SCCA National Tour

I totally phoned it in on Saturday, and I'm absolutely disgusted with myself about that. 11th on Saturday, 3rd on Sunday. Bleah.

Conditions were about normal for Toledo - alternating scorching hot and torrential rain. SM ran first heat, which at Toledo means you get to clean off the fine dust that collects every morning - which in turn means no grip.

Saturday course had no real challenge to it; Sunday a little bit better. Still short for a National Tour (~35 seconds) and nowhere near technical enough.

Once I found my testicles (they were hidden under the gas pedal) the new tires (285/30-18 Hoosier A3S05) were awesome. Car has tons of grip and got the steering response back.
