SRAM XX Driveline
For a while now, I've been intrigued at the possibilities provided by the 10-speed rear cassette first pioneered by the SRAM XX driveline. In particular, it looked like a 1 x 10 driveline would be perfect for racing.
And then I encountered the Don Valley, whose trails have climbs on them that, for me, absolutely require a granny to get through. The bull low gear offered by a 36 tooth front cog 1 x 10 just isn't low enough for me to ride some of these trails.
So I'm slowly assembling a full SRAM XX drivetrain:
