Brant Tract Trails (Paisley Ontario)

Brant Tract near Paisley, Ontario, is another of the Bike the Bruce trails. Built to IMBA standards, there is about 30km of trail, ranging from Green to Blue in difficulty. The trails are not overly technical - a few small climbs and some roots - but this is a nice patch of forest singletrack and makes for great riding.

The trails are well signed and junctions frequently have posted trail maps, so it is visitor friendly.

Brant Tract Trails

(There's more trail than pictured here; we didn't ride the whole thing)

The only real issue with this trail is that the soil contains a lot of clay and the water table, especially where the trail drops down near the river to the northeast, is fairly high. Accordingly, the trail can get and stay wet for a while, and mudholes can develop if people ride the trails when wet. If it has rained within a couple of days, don't go here, as it will be a sloppy mess

This trail isn't "epic" enough to demand a visit, but if you are in the area and it hasn't rained, it is a great place to go riding.
